  • Hey there!

Thanks for the template. I am having issues exporting with Generator.

iPhone 6 and 6+ images are not getting exported. Any clue?

    Thanks!

      Hi Alex.
You are absolutely right. There was a problem with the iPhone6 / 6+ Layer naming in the template.
It has been corrected now. So go ahead and download the updated zip file. It should work now!

Thank you for letting me know :)

Hey, I’m somewhat confused which images to include.

My app is in landscape format and I’d like it to support all iOS devices. Which images should be included?

Also, in you template there are only landscape images for some devices, why?

    Thanks,
    Mads

I always include all the default images up to my maximum supported resolution the game / app.
Regarding the landscape images support, for the iPhone I added only those that are supported to launch in landscape mode.

Thanks. Just for a little more clarification:
The user experience of my app is always landscape oriented (Whether it is technically portrait or landscape I’m not sure (this is my first app)). So, when the app launches there is really no need for differently oriented launch images …experience wise at least. But technically which images should be included?

For example, should both “Default-Landscape.png” and “Default-Portrait.png” be included?

Awesome man, I am new to Photoshop and i was kind of looking for readymade template for my app to support launch images for all sizes on all devices with available orientation. You saved my time. Thanks

    Happy Coding.

This is by far and away the best generator to use with PS! Do you have any plans for an Android version before I start working on one?
