Your portraits.
Your privacy.

Privacy Policy for MODEL MOMENT, the iPhone app provided by Martin Bjeld.

1. The short version

MODEL MOMENT works on your iPhone. We do not operate a backend for the app, require an account, or include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not receive your portraits or face measurements through the app.

2. Camera and face analysis

The app uses Camera access to show a preview and capture portraits. Apple Vision analyzes face and eye landmarks on the device to guide the close, relax, and open sequence. This is used to time photographs, not to identify you. Landmark measurements are transient: the app does not save face templates or transmit face-analysis data to us or third parties.

3. Photographs and local data

Portrait originals, capture dates, session information, and Select status are stored in the app’s local storage. Originals retain camera metadata, including orientation. The app does not request location access. Sound preferences and completed free-session identifiers are also stored locally. The usage record is separate from photographs; deleting photographs does not reset the complimentary-session allowance.

Normal iOS backup behavior applies. Depending on your settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud or device backup. MODEL MOMENT does not provide its own cloud sync.

4. Saving and sharing

Photos add-only permission is requested when you choose to save Selects. The app does not need to read your existing photo library. Saving creates copies in Photos. Sharing uses the iOS share sheet and sends the files to the destination you choose. Apple and any destination services handle those copies under their own policies.

5. Purchases

Apple processes the optional lifetime Pro purchase. The app uses StoreKit to verify the purchase and restore access through your Apple Account. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchases and related personal data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

6. Your choices and deletion

You can change Camera and Photos permissions in iPhone Settings. Delete individual portraits in the app; Undo is available briefly before deletion is committed. Deleting the last portrait removes the session. Deleting the app removes its local data, but does not remove copies you exported or data retained in backups. Manage those separately in Photos and your Apple backup settings.

We cannot access, retrieve, or delete portraits on your device remotely. For questions about personal information you send directly to us, use the contact details below.

7. Support enquiries and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your enquiry, and retain it only as needed for support and any applicable record-keeping obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive information or portraits unless necessary.

This website does not add analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or browser storage. The hosting service may process routine request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the site. External sites you choose to visit have their own privacy policies.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this page if our data practices change and show the revised date above. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us, contact Martin Bjeld.
