A few answers to help your next session feel effortless.
How do I start a session?
Tap New Session and allow Camera access. Choose the camera and Session Sound, then tap Start Session. Keep your eyes open until the first cue, close them, relax, and open after the two-tap cue. Soft, even light helps the camera see your eyes.
What do the haptics mean?
One strong tap means close your eyes. A sustained pulse means relax. Two strong taps mean open. Preview the patterns under Session Notes → Feel the Session Cues. Haptics need a supported iPhone and system haptics enabled.
The camera isn’t capturing. What should I try?
Start with your eyes open, keep your face in frame, and wait for the close cue. Try brighter, even light and a more forward-facing pose. Both eyes are preferred; a single clearly visible eye can work with a longer confirmation. Glasses, shadows, and strong head turns can affect detection.
Where are my portraits saved?
Originals are stored inside MODEL MOMENT. Open a session, mark your Selects, and tap Save to Photos to export copies. They are not automatically saved to Photos. Deleting the app removes portraits stored only in the app; exported copies remain in Photos. Device backups may also include app data, depending on your Apple settings.
How do I allow Camera or Photos access?
Open iPhone Settings, find MODEL MOMENT, and enable the permission you need. Camera access is needed to shoot; Photos add-only access is requested when you export Selects. If you deny Photos access, the app offers an Open Settings shortcut. You can still view your portraits in the app.
How do the three complimentary sessions work?
Only successfully completed free sessions count. Cancelled or failed sessions do not. Deleting a completed session does not replenish the allowance. After three completions, starting another session requires Pro. Viewing, selecting, saving, and sharing existing photographs remain available.
I bought Pro. How do I restore it?
Sign in to the Apple Account used for the purchase. In MODEL MOMENT, open Studio Notes and tap Restore Purchases. Pro is a single lifetime purchase, not a subscription. Apple handles billing and purchase approval.
Why can’t I hear Session Sound?
Check the music toggle, your iPhone volume, Silent mode, and connected headphones or Bluetooth audio. Session Sound respects Silent mode. Backgrounding or an interruption can pause the session; return to the app and resume when ready.
Can I undo a deleted shot?
Tap Undo within three seconds of deletion. Deleting the final shot also removes its session. Copies you previously exported to Photos are not deleted by MODEL MOMENT.
